It is
the aim of the education department to provide an emotionally supportive
environment in which students can learn at their own pace, according to
their individual strengths and needs. The students are provided with
the strategies needed for learning the basic skills in all academic areas.
The academic areas are aligned with the Core Content Standards. The
academic environment also provides the students with skills that foster the
development of their self-esteem and confidence, enabling them to function
in a way acceptable to society.
