Residential Services Children live in small residential halls with a maximum capacity of twelve children based on their age. Twenty-four hour care is provided by trained child care staff who function as integral members of the treatment team. All aspects of the Somerset Hills program are designed to provide a consistent and caring environment. Residential Services at Somerset Hills believes that the staff working in residential treatment should have the ability to understand the psycho-dynamics that motivate behavior in children. We utilize the Residential Services worker not only to provide the physical care of the child, but also as an integral member of the treatment team who must be able to individualize each child in terms of his needs.
